sunset

i am obsessed with sunsets and sunrises. the reason for this is that they remind me that everything has an end but there is always a new beginning. as cheezy as that sounds, it is a good reminder that everything that is bad will pass and that the best is yet to come. it is also a good reminder that when the good things end, new, better ones will come. bad times create strong men, strong men create good times, good times create weak men, and weak men create bad times; and so it goes in a cycle. everything has a purpose and everything has a timing. this is what the sunactivity makes me think about.

bloom

It's finally spring and there are flowers blooming everywhere. "Bloom" reminds me of new beginnings, of trying again, and trying to bloom this time. "Bloom" also reminds me of sunlight, and how most flowers need sunlight to bloom. Once the sunlight starts pouring out, the flowers start coming out. I believe we need to start letting some light into our lives so that we can finally start blooming. We pour out diverse colours, scents and forms once light comes into our lives and we bloom, just like flowers.

spring break

Spring break was made up of sunsets and and skies. Along with the good weather, Spring brought beauty to the city and the most amazing views. As I explored the city with a couple of friends, I was able to see some of Vancouver's amazing landscapes and get a glimpse of what the city has to offer, once the cold dies down. My newest hobby is finding a place outside to sit down and watch the sun as it sets in the horizon and see the city change completely from daylight to night and then long walks back home enjoying the night view.
